The client required work to be carried from their home for an increasing amount of time. The problem was that the maximum internet speed available at the location was less than 100 kbps and there was no short- or medium-term plan to improve this.

There was however a small piece of higher ground where a 4G signal could be received with the addition of an aerial and then securely transmitted to the building.

This signal was then fed into the internal network to be distributed throughout the property via a combination of hard-wired network points and wireless access.

The improvement to the capability to work from the property was thereby practically infinite.

There was minimal disruption to the client and the addition of the aerial and two small equipment installations made no negative impact on either the integrity or aesthetics of the property.
